This Privacy Policy describes how Schedule It ("we", "us", or "our") — a product of BLK Magick Apps — collects, uses, and processes information when you use our website (scheduleit.blkmagick.app) and the Schedule It Shopify application (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

When you use the Schedule It website:

  • IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on the site
  • Referral source
  • Contact form submissions (name, email, message)

When you install and use the Schedule It app:

  • Shopify shop domain and store identifiers
  • Store metadata and billing plan information
  • Scheduling configurations and automation settings
  • Action payloads (pricing changes, product updates, discount configs, etc.)
  • Execution logs and system events
  • Notification preferences and email address for alerts

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data from end-customers of your store unless provided in a support context.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Execute scheduled automations on your Shopify store
  • Deliver system status, execution logs, and analytics within the app
  • Send transactional email notifications (e.g., automation failures, completions)
  • Manage billing and plan limits via Shopify's billing system
  • Maintain system security, performance, and reliability
  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve and develop new features

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted third-party providers strictly as necessary to operate the Service, including:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers (AWS)
  • Email delivery services (AWS SES)
  • Payment and billing processors (via Shopify)

All third parties are required to handle data securely and only for authorized purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, support your account, and meet legal and compliance obligations. Execution logs and automation history are retained according to your plan tier. You may request deletion at any time.

5. Your Rights

You may request:

  • Access to the data we hold about your store
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Export of your data
  • Deletion of your data

To submit a request, email scheduleit@blkmagick.com with your Shopify store domain and the type of request. We aim to respond within 30 days. Some data may be retained where required for legal or operational purposes.

6. Shopify Platform Data

Schedule It processes store and merchant data through the Shopify API in accordance with Shopify's API Terms and Partner Program Agreement. We support Shopify's required privacy webhooks:

  • customers/data_request — customer data access requests
  • customers/redact — customer data erasure
  • shop/redact — shop data erasure after uninstall

These requests are processed automatically in accordance with Shopify requirements.

7. Cookies

The Schedule It website uses essential cookies required for the site to function. We may use analytics cookies to understand how people use the site. Non-essential cookies are only set after you accept via the cookie consent banner. You can decline without affecting core site functionality.

8. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure credential management. No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee against all potential threats.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States where our infrastructure providers (including AWS) operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
